| Butterfly Puddle Male butterflies need to consume minerals typically found in muddy water. You can replicate this by mixing soil and water in our shallow Butterfly Puddle. You can also experiment with alternative mineral sources, such as salt, manure, or sports drinks. Made from high-density plastic with a textured, ribbed basin ranging from 1/2" to 2" deep.
