The Topsoil Tour provides an absorbing classroom investigation into the physical and chemical properties of soil. Each student on the tour completes seven units while conducting his or her own tests for soil texture, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium using safe, simple reagent tablets.
Incorporates math and science activities in academically rich lesson plans. Three-ring binder includes lesson plans, blackline activity sheets, pH poster, and more; plus enough tablets and sample test bags for 50 students. Grades 4-8.
