This specialized kit shows the effect of massive doses of radiation on the germination and the growth of plants. Students monitor the growth and development of seedlings from each dose group to the control plants. Kit contains vials of control seeds and vials of seeds that have been exposed to radiation (seeds are not radioactive, but show the effects of radioactivity). Seeds are completely safe to handle. Teacher's guide and reproducible student worksheets are also included. Enough material for 30 students. Grades 6-12.
