Using ordinary soil, students perform comprehensive soil nutrient and mineral analysis, testing for the presence of 10 nutrients and minerals necessary for strong plant development.

Students also determine water and organic matter content, and the pH of several different soil samples. Teaching guide and reproducible student worksheets included. Enough materials for 30 students working in pairs. Grades 6-12.
